Costs CMA review course

The costs for CMA Part 1 and CMA Part 2 at the VU are €1,400 each (no VAT and including the Gleim CMA Review book).

Costs literature

We use the Gleim CMA review books during this course. Each book (part 1 and part 2) costs €150 and these costs are included in the tuition fee of €1,400. The review books will be given to the candidates during the first class in September or January.

Furthermore, two additional textbooks are recommended to use. These can be bought at the VU Bookstore and are approximately €75 each.

Apart from the costs for the CMA Review Course at the VU, candidates should take the IMA fees into account.

Time Investment

Lectures will be held on Monday evenings from 18:45-21:15. Each part takes up 15 weeks with 2,5 hours of lecture each week. Depending on previous education and work experience, self study will take up between 5 to 7,5 hours a week. Besides regular weekly studies, experience learns that most candidates need up to 50 hours of study to prepare for each exam.

How to apply?

Candidates need to submit the application form for the first semester (CMA Part 2) before September 1, 2019. For the second semester (CMA Part 1), candidates need to apply before January 10th, 2020. Candidates can start either in September or in January.

Subscription to the course is only definite after the applicant has received a confirmation. The course needs a minimum of 5 candidates to take place. If the candidate after subscription decides not to take part in the course, this must be communicated in a timely manner through e-mail. In case the candidate did not notify the program manager before the second lecture date, an administrative fee of €50 will be charged.

Application for the VU CMA Program is not the same as subscribing for the CMA exam. The candidate needs to plan his or her own exam date through ICMA. The VU will provide the candidates with information about this subscription process in a timely manner.
