The newly installed board of the IMA Chapter Amsterdam organizes her first workshop of the year 2017-2018 on Thursday, September 28th. The workshop will focus on ‘Professional Ethics’ and will be held from 19:00-21:00 at in Agora 1 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The program of the evening is as follows:

The evening starts with a presentation by Dennis Whitney, Senior VP at the Institute of Management Accountants. He will discuss the renewed IMA Ethics standard and give an update about the IMA Program. The second speaker of the evening will be Eric Dortland. He works as Governance, Risk, Compliance and Assurance Advisor by Shell Projects and Technology, and he is also a member of the commission ‘Handhaving en Ethiek’ (Enforcement and Ethics) of the Vereniging van Registercontrollers (VRC). He will discuss the ethical code for RC’s, the work of the commission and the ‘what and how’ regarding the enforcement of the code. Fred Vlotman will conclude the evening with a brief talk about the relevance and importance of such ethical standards for controllers and management accountants.
Registration is free and you can earn up to 2 CPE points for attending.
New activities from the IMA Amsterdam - Netherlands Chapter will be posted as soon as more information is available. The language during most activities is Dutch.
